eventLounge allows Event Managers to access online registration information using an iOS device such as an iPhone or iPad. It also provides the ability to scan*(see below for definition of scan) or search attendees into workshop sessions or functions and validate ticket count. Spreadsheet style reporting is available via email or airdrop.

Definition: ‘scan’
The term scan is defined as either a barcode scan using a CHS 7Xi bluetooth scanner from socketmobile.com or searching a reference number, name or email address and then selecting the attendee in the search results screen in the Sessions or Options tab bar item in the eventLounge app. Each scan is synchronised across all iOS devices that are logged in with the same iCloud account. This allows users of the eventLounge app to have up to date information on attendees who have been scanned into a session (e.g. a 30 minute workshop) or option (e.g. social function like a dinner or cocktail party).

Two modes of accessing event information are offered, demo or eTouches mode.

The demo mode offers access to a set of sample data of predefined event information that the user can access to determine if the product is suitable for their needs before deciding to purchase access to the eTouches mode. For the demo mode, the length of subscription is unlimited and does not require a purchased subscription, where as the eTouches mode requires a ’30 days eTouches subscription’ which is a non renewing subscription for US$349.99 from the App Store and is shared across all devices that use the same/shared iCloud account.

The eTouches mode offers online registration information that resides on the eTouches cloud service and offers (via a public XML API from eTouches) access to information to all events that is associated with the eTouches Account ID and Account Key. The Account ID and Key must be entered and verified in the eventLounge app user login screen using the Connect button.

Two types of In-App purchases are offered. The first is a non renewing subscription, with a display/publication name; ’30 days eTouches subscription’, which is a non renewing subscription and is required if the user selects the ‘eTouches’ mode.

The second is a consumable product, with a display/publication name; ‘1000 pre-purchased scans’, offering the eventLounge app user to pre-purchase 1000 scans* for US$99.99 from the App Store and is shared across all devices that use the same iCloud account. This product is available to purchase in demo or eTouches mode. The initial eventLounge app download includes an initial free 10 scan* bundle. Each purchase of a ‘1000 pre-purchased scans’ product is cumulative on the current available scan* balance for the same/shared iCloud account.

The ’30 days eTouches subscription’ is a non-renewable subscription which allows the eventLounge app user access to their eTouches event information for a period of 30 days and is non renewing subscription and non refundable. This subscription allows access to all your eTouches events associated using your eTouches Account ID & Account Key. At the end of the subscription, another non renewing subscription can be purchased for another 30 days.

When a scan* is performed in either the demo or eTouches mode the scan balance is reduced by one for all iOS devices using the same/shared iCloud account.

Payments for any of the in-App products will be charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.
